  • Yarn (Weight 6) : ~250-450 yds; I used Bernat Blanket Yarn: Small: 333g/1.1 balls/244 yds of dark teal,
Large: 600g/2 balls/440 yds of vintage white

  • Hook: 8mm/L-11 or hook needed to obtain gauge; I crochet with tight tension

  • Pillow insert (I used a 17 inch insert for the small and 22 inch insert for the large)

  • Optional: Scissors, Tapestry Needle, Stitch Markers, Zipper, Handheld Steamer (for blocking)

Gauge:

  • Since there are a lot of unique rounds in this pattern and not that many rounds, a gauge is tricky to provide. As an alternative, I provide measurements at several checkpoints.

  • 3 rds = 4.5 inches/11.5 cm

  • 5 rds = 7.5 inches/19 cm

Project Length:

  • 3-8 hours - this number was determined by surveying testers
